About
Company Background

TWINKLECARDS is a line of unique handcrafted greeting cards and invitations embellished with precious design materials such as genuine Swarovski crystals, colorful fire-polished Czech and Japanese glass beads and pearls. We use only the finest materials including luxuriously thick cardstock (from an old paper mill in Italy) and an assortment of beautiful handmade paper from Japan and Thailand. You’ll notice that we love flowers. Why? Well, aside from being undeniably beautiful, flowers are universally symbolic of love, gratitude, happiness and friendship, all of which are sentiments we’d like our cards to convey. That’s why they’re perfect for virtually any everyday or special occasion. And all our cards are left blank inside for your special message. A lot of love and work go into our cards. Our signature flowers are individually beaded by hand using jewelry wire. And not surprisingly, the meticulous handcrafting requires a toolbox filled with nail files, round nose pliers, tweezers, toothpicks, and anything else that’s needed to fulfill our design vision. Time intensive production? Absolutely, but it’s the priceless expressions on faces upon receiving one of our cards or special invitations that drive us to continually make beautiful designs with lots of love and care.

Designer Bio

Anne Byun Yuoh is the owner and creative force behind Twinklecards. Prior to launching the company, she was busy on Madison Avenue managing multi-million dollar ad campaigns for clients such as PepsiCo, Starwood Hotels & Resorts, and Pfizer. But hungry for another creative outlet, she decided to start her own business by designing unique handmade greeting cards. Tired of the usual handmade cards decorated with plaid ribbons, googly eyes and glitter, Anne was determined to reinvent the handmade card by using unconventional and bold design materials.

She wanted to create cards that were truly one of a kind and not to mention hard to throw away. Cards that people would cherish. At first, she questioned whether this hobby could actually develop into a business. But once retailers like Barney’s New York, Henri Bendel, and the country’s largest handmade greeting card distributor (Constance Kay) expressed interest in her designs, she started to think differently.

Anne handles all aspects of the company’s business including design, marketing/public relations, and sales. She currently resides in New York with her husband. In her spare time, she loves designing jewelry and tries to fit in some golf and Italian food with friends and loved ones. But it’s her passion for creativity that defines her.  Some of her handcrafted jewelry pieces can be found on ETSY.com.   (www.etsy.com/shop/fourhandsNYC)
