At this time, only one custom card may be designed per transaction. However, there are options:
*If you’d like to purchase multiple cards with different designs, simply (1) design your first card, (2) complete the checkout process with the desired quantity, and (3) email custom@twinklecards.com with the name on the order, the 3 flower colors, your personalized message, whether you’d like to include the leather cord, and envelope color.
*If you’d like to purchase multiple cards of the same design, simply adjust the quantity at checkout.
We use a very thick luxurious card stock (110#) with a textured finish. This stock comes from one of the oldest paper mills in Italy. This particular stock is very popular with letterpress designs given its thickness and cotton content.
18 characters (including symbols and spaces) is the recommended maximum. We can extend your message by an additional 5 character but that is the absolute maximum. Should you want a longer message, simply type “custom message” in the field and email us with your desired message.
All the designing is really up to you. But we do have some helpful tips to share:
1) Choose 3 of the same color flower or, have some fun and create a colorful bouquet with different colored flowers. If you choose to pick different colored flowers, try to match the color of the flower center. This is a nice way to “hold together” your bouquet.
2) Green is always a nice choice for the envelope since it complements the green flower stems. The natural white (textured finish) is a perfect match with the card given that it comes from the same manufacturer.
3) When choosing the ink color, pick one that matches your bouquet. Green is always a great choice as it complements the green flower stem.
4) The fire-polished glass beads come in two different types of finish (opaque and translucent). This may be hard to see from the images so please keep in mind that the two opaque color options at this time are turquoise and coral red.
You must click “Finish & SAVE” before clicking the “Add To Cart” button. If you’re prompted by your computer to OPEN or SAVE the jpeg file, make sure you select SAVE.
Yes, all our cards are safe to mail (with the exception of our “Wedding Sachet” design given it exceeds the ¼” max thickness per USPS guidelines). However, when possible, we recommend hand-delivering given the delicate nature of handcrafted cards.
We pride ourselves on the quality of the design materials we use. Many of our cards are embellished with hand-applied Swarovski crystals or hand-beaded flowers, which are made with imported fire-polished glass beads from Japan and Czech Republic. But we don’t stop there. We’ve also selected the finest card stock (luxuriously thick 110# stock) from one of the oldest paper mills in Italy and a large assortment of handmade Japanese and Thai papers. While the embellishments may appear delicate, they are securely applied to the cards with industrial strength adhesives (used by jewelry manufacturers).
